FRAMINGHAM – The Keefe Tech girls volleyball team lost its season opener yesterday to Bay Path Regional 3-0.

This is a rebuilding year for the Broncos, as there was no season last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Sixty girls tried out for the varsity squad, with 14 girls on the team, said head coach Matt Warren.

“Very few players have played on varsity before this season, so we are learning and growing as a team,” said Coach Warren.

The home opener is September 21 against Monty Tech.

The senior on the team will be honored on october 14 in a match against Nashoba Valley Tech.

“We have a thriving program that includes JV and freshmen teams.  The future is bright for Keefe Tech volleyball,” said Coach Warren.
