FRAMINGHAM – Police investigating a report of an assault involving a knife, arrested two individuals in downtown Framingham on Sunday night, August 22.

There was an “altercation” between two individuals who are known to each other, said Framingham Police Lt. Rachel Mickens.

One man pulled a knife and threatened the other man, said Lt. Mickens.

No one was hurt, during the altercation.

Police arrested at 5:35 p.m. at 73 Hollis Street Howard O. Roach, 59, with no known address. He was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (knife).

“While officers were investigating this incident another man began yelling at the victim and causing a scene,” said Lt. Mickens. He was subsequently placed under arrest, she said.

Also arrested at 73 Hollis Street at 6:03 p.m. was Bruno Desouza Sr., 41, of 395 Concord Street, of Framingham. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
