The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton has issued a Tornado Warning for Southeastern Worcester County in Central Massachusetts. at 10:21 a.m.

At 10:27 a.m. if was also extended to Southwestern Middlesex County.

A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Webster, or 13 miles south of Worcester, moving northeast at 25 miles per hour.

If in the tornado warning area move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.

Quarter size hail is possible.

The dangerous storm is expected to come through MetroWest at 11:15 a.m.

The storm is expected to deliver more than inch of rain, as part of Tropical Storm Fred.
