FRAMINGHAM – A Framingham woman was arrested, after she crashed into a pole on Pleasant Street Thursday night.

Framingham Police responded to a report of a crash at 260 Pleasant Street at around 8:30 p.m. yesterday, August 12.

Police found a motor vehicle had struck a utility pole.

After a brief investigation officers determined the driver was operating under the influence of alcohol and placed her under arrest, said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt., Rachel Mickens.

Police arrested at 8;49 p.m. Elizabeth Perlmutter, 62, of 7 Tanglewood Drive of Framingham.

She was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and failure to stay within marked lanes.
