FRAMINGHAM – Police are investigating a Wednesday morning theft at Framingham Liquors.

An individual made a purchase at the store and then took the donation jar that was at the register, explained Framingham Police Lt. Rachel Mickens.

The theft happened on August 4, before 9 a.m. at 1 Marble Street.

The donation jar had less than $50 in it.

“Police are working on an identification and will seek charges,” said Lt. Mickens.
