FRAMINGHAM – Framingham police arrested a Greenfield woman, after the vehicle she was driving crashed into a telephone pole on Concord Street and rolled over early Saturday morning, July 31.

Police responded to a crash at 3:07 a.m. at 306 Concord Street.

“This was a single vehicle crash into a telephone pole, which then caused the vehicle to rolled over,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

At 3:51 a.m. police officers arrested Esperanza Righini, 21, of 23 Vermont Street in Greenfield.

She was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with an open container of alcohol, failure to stay within marked lanes, and disorderly conduct.

“Upon arrival the officer spoke with Righini and observed signs of intoxication. She was placed under arrest,” said Lt. Mickens.

Righini had minor injuries, but did not need to be transported to the hospital.

“There was significant damage to the telephone pole,” said Lt. Mickens.
