Editor’s Note: This is the second in a series of Q&As with Framingham Public Library staff. The main Framingham Library and the Christa McAuliffe Library branch were physically closed for more than a year due to the coronavirus pandemic. During that time period, a new director and assistant director were hired. During those months, new staff was hired, some left, and with the library back to its pre-pandemic hours, SOURCE thought it would be great during the prime summer reading season to introduce and re-introduce key library staff to the community, and have staff discuss what the library has to offer and their favorite parts of the libraries.

Favorite section of the Framingham Library to browse: Memoirs. I love learning about the struggles and challenges people have overcome in life.
When I’m in the library, I just can’t help browsing the vinyl collection! I rarely take one home, but I always stop to see what’s on the shelf.
The best part of my job is facilitating the incredible ideas that our brilliant staff create to represent and serve our community.
I wish people knew the library offered ceremonial scissors in our Library of Things!

The Framingham Library needs you to come visit and take advantage of our collection, both physical and electronic.
Last thing I took out with my library card was a Beach Boys record.
I would recommend exploring our Library of Things. Our collection offers a wide variety of objects, including technology that people may want to test and experiment with before investing in the product.
