NATICK – Natick police received a report of gunshots fired at the Monticello Motel on Route 9 yesterday, July 26 around 11:45 p.m., but after an investigation determined that it did not happen.

Both Natick and Framingham Police responded to 90 Worcester Road.

More than a dozen police officers from Framingham were on the scene at midnight.

No shells were recovered by Framingham Police, said Lt. Rachel Mickens.

“Officers investigated and found no ballistic evidence,” and no weapons at the motel said Natick Police spokesperson Lt. Cara Rossi.

Natick police interviewed “several other guests and no one else heard gunshots, said Lt. Rossi.

Natick police determined the call to be “unfounded,” said Lt. Rossi.
