NATICK – Superintendent of Schools Anna Nolin announced that Susan Balboni will be the new interim Director of Teaching, Learning, and Innovation for Natick Public Schools.

Balboni holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and elementary education from Framingham State University.

“While working with students with severe disabilities for several years she earned her Master of Education in Special Education from Agra Ingham State. Susan joined Natick Public Schools in 2006. She began as a special education teacher at Wilson Middle School. Mrs. Balboni has served in several addition roles including Eval Team Leader, Assistant Director of Student Services, Assistant Principal of Wilson and most currently Principal of Memorial Elementary School,” wrote Nolin.

“Balboni also earned a Master of Education in Leadership and Organization from Endicott College and is currently enrolled in the Aspiring Superintendent program through American Association of School Administrators (AASA). Mrs. Balboni also serves as an adjunct faculty member through Framingham State, teaching a graduate course for new teachers in Natick. She also is an adjunct faculty member at High Meadows Graduate School (a teacher training program affiliated with MIT) in Cambridge,” wrote Nolin.
