FRAMINGHAM – Two of the City of Framingham’s trio of public beaches are closed today, July 16, and will likely be closed all weekend.

Lake Waushakum has never opened this season. The City’s beaches opened in mid-June, but the District 8 public beach has had a high e coli bacteria count and has yet to open for swimming.

Saxonville is closed for swimming due to cyanobacteria, but the beach is open.

Learneds Pond beach is open for swimming, having been closed for a couple of days due to high e coli bacteria.
