FRAMINGHAM – District 2 resident Shivaun Pryor has been nominated by Mayor Yvonne Spicer to serve on the Framingham Agricultural Advisory Committee.

The Agricultural Advisory Committee was established to serve as the primary advocate for farming and agriculture in Framingham.

The nomination was made on July 13, and the City Council, the legislative branch of government, has 30 days to approve or reject. If no action is taken, the appointment is automatic for 3 years through June 30, 2024.

Pryor used to work and volunteer are Drumlin Farm, according to her application.

“I have owned a petsitting business where I have taken care of chickens and helped with my clients gardens,” wrote the Queens Way resident.

Members of the Committee are David Garrity (District 1), Natasha Rausch (District 4), Aljani Stanley (District 4), Linda Kirchman (District 6), Leora Mallach (District 7) and Thomas Hanson (District1).

Hanson’s term has expired, it is unknown at this time if here-applied.
