SOUTHBOROUGH – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT)announced the I-90 westbound bridge replacements over Parkerville Road in Southborough and Flanders Road in Westborough, which began this past Friday night, have been completed ahead of schedule, and all I-90 and local road travel lanes reopened this morning at 2:20 a.m.  

The Acceler-8 I-90 Bridge Replacement Project is replacing 8 bridges over 8 weekends this summer between the Route 9 and I-495 interchanges.

The work this coming weekend is to pave the bridges on the westbound side of I-90 and will not require local road lane closures or a crossover. The work will take place from 7 p.m., Friday, July 16, until 5 a.m., Monday, July 19. 

There will be various lane closures on Mass Pike only.
