FRAMINGHAM – A wrong-way driver on Route 9 today, July 6, caused a three-vehicle crash, according to Police spokesperson. Lt. Rachel Mickens.

The crash happened about 10:40 a.m. at Route 9 and Beacon Street, according to Police.

The driver of a vehicle pulled out of Beacon Street onto Route 9 westbound and was struck by two motor vehicles, explained Lt. Mickens.

The vehicle spun around facing in the wrong direction on Route 9 and traveled a short ways before coming to a stop,” said Lt. Mickens.

One person was transported to MetroWest Medical center with injuries, said police.

One driver was cited, said Lt. Mickens.
