FRAMINGHAM – Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery in the Coburnville section of Framingham that happened at 10 p.m. on Monday, July 5.

“The victim was approached by an unknown male on a bicycle who demanded he hand over his wallet,” between Waverly Market and Walgreens on Route 135, according to police.

“The male then reached in his waistband and brandished what appeared to be a small hand gun,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.
