FRAMINGHAM – The following are City of Framingham, MassDOT, and utility work in Framingham the week of July 5, 2021.

Blackberry Lane Sewer Pump Station: Pump station work continues. Blackberry Lane at Millwood Street will be closed to through traffic during work hours and a detour will be in effect. Please seek an alternate route. 

Edgell Road Gas Main Replacement: Eversource gas will continue replacing gas main on Edgell Road between the Nobscot intersection and Donovan Drive. Expect moderate delays. Lane shifts and/or a one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect.

Gilbert Street Gas Main Installation: Eversource gas will continue replacing gas main on Gilbert Street between Nipmuc Road and Winthrop Street. Expect minor delays. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect.

Grant Street Roadway and Sidewalk Improvements (Between Arthur and Hartford Streets): Sidewalk excavation and curbing work. Expect minor to moderate delays. A two-way and/or one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic.

Leland Street Sidewalk and Road Improvements (Between Irving and Beaver Streets): Punch-list items. Expect minor delays. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic.

Mt. Wayte Avenue Gas Main and Regulator Pit Replacement (Between Union Avenue and Franklin Street) – Eversource Gas: Eversource will continue gas main work on Mt. Wayte Avenue. Expect moderate delays. A partial road closure will be in effect on Mt. Wayte Avenue eastbound. Traffic traveling eastbound will be detoured.

Nobscot Intersection Improvements Project: Underground electrical service and fire alarm cable work. Anticipated work will occur off the road. Expect minor delays.

Sewer Main Lining – Linden Street: Sewer pipe lining operations will be conducted. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic.
