FRAMINGHAM – Framingham’s bats were alive all afternoon Sunday as they took on Main South for a Legion doubleheader at the Framingham Bowditch complex.

Framingham Legion won game one of the double header  5-5.

The offense was led by Matt Tichnor, 3-3 with 3 2B, 3 Runs Scored, 4 RBI’s, David Maude 3-4 with 2 2B, 3 SB and 3 RBI and Kyle Chan 2-2, 1 2B, 3 RBI.

Angelo Moustakas, Jaron Duffy, Brady Levensohn (who picked up the win) and David Maude all pitched well for Post 74.

In Game 2, the bats stayed alive as Framingham would win 17-3 to increase their over all record to 3-1.  

Chris Kelly led the way going 3-4 with 2 Triples, 3 runs and 3 RBI’s, Joey Tunno was also 3-4 with a triple, a doubled and 2 runs scored and Cody Coleman went 3-3 with 2 RBI, 3 SB, 2 runs scored.

Braeden McKenna pitched 4 strong innings picking up the win for Framingham Legion who will travel to Worcester tonight, June 28, and will be playing Shrewsbury Legion at Holy Cross.
