FRAMINGHAM – City of Framingham Mayor Yvonne Spicer has re-nominated Eric Finn and Gerald Blanchette to the 7-member Framingham Veterans Council.

Mayor Spicer also nominated District 4 resident Susan Bradeen to the Council.

All three nominations are subject to approval of the City’s legislative branch, the 11-member City Council.

The Framingham Veterans Council develops policies pertaining to City of Framingham Veterans and plans & promotes Veterans events.

The current chair of the Council is District 5 resident Finn, a U.S. Marine and a 40-year resident of the City of Framingham. He has served on the Veterans Council for 6 years. His new term would end on June 30, 2024.

A U.S. Marine Blanchette lives in District 4 and is a member of the MetroWest Marine Corps League and the NATICK AmVets.

Susan Bradeen , a resident of District 4, is a “family readiness group leader with the Army National Guard and has experience working in the Wellesley National Guards,” wrote the Mayor. She is nominated to fill a recently vacated seat on the Veterans Council, effective through June 30, 2022.

Other members of the Veterans Council include District 5 resident Leah Vincuilla, District 4 resident Nicholas Paganella, District 4 resident William Blumsack, and District 6 resident Alan Beauchamp.
