FRAMINGHAM – A cyclist in a Framingham crosswalk was struck on Route 126 by a motor vehicle yesterday, June 23, according to police.

“The operator was traveling north on Concord Street and struck an individual crossing the street on his bicycle,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Sgt. Rachel Mickens.

The incident happened at Route 126 and Kendall Street at 6:27 p.m.

“The bicyclist was in the crosswalk,” said Sgt. Mickens.

The driver did stop, said police.

“No citations issued,” said Sgt. Mickens.

The bicyclist was transported to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham for “non-life-threatening injuries,” said Sgt. Mickens.
