1 Two of the three City of Framingham beaches are still closed today due to high bacteria counts. The property is open but swimming is prohibited.

2. The Greater Framingham Running Club and Framingham Parks & Recreation summer track meet is tonight. Click here for more details. The cist is just $1 per participant.

3. City Councilors George P. King Jr. and Janet Leombruno will hold an office hour at 4:30 p.m. at the common in downtown Framingham today at 4:30 p.m.

The Common is located next to the former TD Bank on Route 136. Both Councilors were elected as at-large Councilors in 2019 and are serving a 4-year term. While the 9 District Councilors are on the ballot in November, neither of their positions are.

King currently serves as the chair of the 11-member City Council.

4. CITY of FRAMINGHAM MEETINGS:

  • Framingham Veterans Council at 10:30 a.m.
  • Framingham School Committee at 7 p.m.

Mayor Yvonne Spicer’s public schedule shows no public events today.

5. Natick Mall vaccine clinic is scheduled to close today.
