FRAMINGHAM – Walter J. “Wally” Keefe, Jr., 60, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 15, 2021.

Born in Framingham Wally was the son of Mary E. (Tucker) Keefe and the late Walter J. “Ripper” Keefe.

Wally was raised and educated in Framingham and for many years worked as an events coordinator at the Chateau de Ville. He went on to work in the family tile business with his father.

Wally had a heart of gold.  He loved nothing more than caring for and helping people.  He was a people person, always supporting his nieces and nephew and just being there for them as they grew up.

Besides his beloved mom, Mary, Wally is survived by his sisters, Sandra J. Cormier & her husband Arthur of Milford, and Susan M. Masionis & her husband William of Dennis, his niece, Jenna Young & her husband Steve, his nephew, Derek Masionis, his niece Shannon Cormier, and many special friends and family, especially Ryan Alger of Hopkinton.

Family and friends will honor and remember Wally’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Thursday, June 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Wally’s name to the charity of your choice.
