ASHLAND – Madeline J. Tozlowski, 95, of Ashland, passed away on Sunday, June 13,2021 at home surrounded by her family.

She was the wife of Stanley W. Tozlowski to whom she had been married for 70 years.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Jane (Smith) Flynn.

She graduated from B.M.C. Durfee High School in 1944 and from Framingham State College in 1948.

She taught Home Economics at Killingly High School in Danielson, CT and at Westwood High School in Westwood.

She returned to school at a later date to become a Special Education teacher. She resumed teaching at Keefe Technical High School in Framingham, and retired in 1990 after many years of service.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and four daughters: Stan, Jr. and his wife Suzanne of Pelham, NH and Mark and his wife April of Plymouth, MA; Eileen Norton of Franklin, MA; Patrice Bache and her husband, Thomas of Northboro, MA; Jean Koulouris of Andover, MA; Jo Anne Konz and her husband Paul of Shrewsbury, MA.

She also leaves fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In addition, she leaves her sister, Eileen Griggs of Charlotte, NC. She was predeceased by her eight brothers: James, Charles, Robert, Earle, Leo, Harold, Roy and Kenneth Flynn and one sister, Dorothy Pelland Cargil. She leaves many nieces and nephews.

At Madeline’s request, funeral services and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Madeline’s memory to the B.M.C. Durfee High School Alumni Association Scholarship Fund, PO Box 9656, Fall River, MA 02720-0011.
