Natick High Department Head Finalist For Scarlet Knights Athletic Director

FRAMINGHAM – A Natick High School department head is one of three finalists to become the Director of Athletics at North Andover High School.

There are three finalists for the position, which begins with the 2021-22 school year.

Natick High School Social Studies Department Head Matthew Brenneman is one of the finalists.

He has been the department head since August of 2013. He is also the Natick High indoor and outdoor track & field varsity coach. Brenneman has been at Natick High for 17 years since August of 2003.

The other two finalists are

• North Andover High’s Director of Guidance Steve Nugent, who is also the Scarlet Knights’ indoor and outdoor track & field varsity coach.

• Windham High School’s Director of Athletics Michael McCaffrey.

Natick High School is in the Bay State Conference. Natick High has about 1,600 students.

North Andover High School is in the Merrimack Valley Conference and has about 1,375 students.
