FRAMINGHAM – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing it will be closing the I-90 eastbound at exit 111 (Route 9) on-ramp and off-ramp in Framingham.

These closures will occur overnight on Wednesday, June 16, and Thursday, June 17, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.. the following morning.

During the work traffic looking to enter and exit I-90 from the location will be directed to follow the detour signage in place.

Detours are as follows:

  • Drivers looking to enter and exit Interstate 90 eastbound at exit 111 will be directed to follow the detour signage in place and utilize exit 117 (Route 30 Natick/Framingham).

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and advanced message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers who are traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution.

All scheduled work is weather dependent and may be impacted due to an emergency.
