FRAMINGHAM – The annual Festa Junina will take place Saturday, June 12, at St. Tarcisius Church on Route 135.

As the community is still coming out of the coronavirus pandemic, the festival will be drive-thru.

The Festa Junina commemorate Saint Anthony, Saint John the Baptist, and Saint Pete and honors the rain and the harvest season. After Carnival, it is the second most popular celebration in Brazilian culture.

Attendees sometimes dress in farm costumes, but this year the popular event will be a drive-thru celebration from 3 to 9 p.m.
