FRAMINGHAM – Mary E. (Quinn) Daigneault, 82, a longtime resident of Framingham died suddenly June 3, 2021.
Born in Boston the daughter of the late Edward & Mary (Finnegan) Quinn, she was the beloved wife of the late Henry A. Daigneault for 52 years.
Mary was raised in Watertown and graduated from Watertown High School.
She went to work at New England Telephone for a few years then met and fell in love with Henry. They married, started a family, and a few years later settled in Framingham.
She worked for many years at Tasty Donut in Saxonville, then Whites Corner in Southborough, and for many years at Carmel Terrace in Framingham.
Mary was an avid reader, enjoyed a game of Bingo or crossword puzzle, and a good movie. Her love of Tom Brady was only surpassed by her love of Aerosmith, even attending a concert in her late 70’s.
Family first for Mary and thanks to her Irish wit everyone always knew where they stood. She is survived by her sons, P.J. & his fiancé Melissa Baker of Woonsocket, RI, and Hank & his wife Stacey of York, ME, her daughter in law, Melissa of Kittery, ME, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Henry, Mary was predeceased by her son Michael, and her siblings, Paul Bob, Jim, and Rich Quinn, and Terry Morrissey and Rose Dezotel.
Family and friends will honor and remember Mary’s life by celebrating her Funeral Mass on Monday morning, June 14th in St. George Church, 74 School St. Saxonville at 10 o’clock. Interment will be private.
