FRAMINGHAM – Clarence “Eddie” E. Coppinger, Jr., age 77, died, Sunday June 6, 2021 at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham.

Born in Framingham he was the son of the late Clarence E., Sr. and Margaret B. (Sloan) Coppinger.

Eddie was the husband of 21 years to the late Jaye M. (Baker) Coppinger who died in 2003.

He entered in the United States Marine Corp where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War.

Eddie was a foreman for the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Eddie is survived by his children, Lianne Coppinger, Clarence E. Coppinger, III and his fiancé Beth Monahan, James Coppinger and his wife Elissa; stepdaughters, Laurie, Meri, and Brenda: grandchildren, Clarence E., IV, Matthew, Caelan, Faith, Autumn, Brady and Kaleb. He is also survived by his sister June M. Fangel of Marlborough. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 4-7 p.m., in the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. Framingham.

His funeral service at the Norton Funeral Home will be on Friday, June 11, 2021, at 9:30 a.m.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough.
