“From there senior captain Sean Clark took over scoring 3 straight goals to make it 7-5. Then senior captain Darren Palma would top us off with one more goal to make it 8-5,” said Mulvey.

“Junior Kyle Patriarca had 9 saves, 4 in the 3rd and 5 in the fourth quarter,” said Mulvey.

“Both Brady and Kyle were lights out today – couldn’t have asked for more out of our goaltending,” said Mulvey.

“All of our seniors:  Brady Morgan, Jared Shimelman, Sean Clark, Darren Palma, Vinny Yerardi, Connor Flynn, Thomas Chase, Brett Wiliams, Temi Kayas, Pete Sinesi, Nick Tessitore, and Adi Patel all made their own unique contributions to our team’s success. I am so proud of our seniors for leaving behind a legacy of relentless effort and a never-give-up attitude,” said Mulvey.

“It is hard to talk about today’s game without singling out senior captain Sean Clark, who is becoming our clutch shooter when we find ourselves needing a spark on offense. Clark netted 4 goals himself, to tie up the game twice and then to put us over the top by two before Palma added an insurance goal. Plus Clark also had 5 big ground balls,” said Mulvey. “Clark simply put, was awesome. His energy is contagious and gets our whole team going. There is no doubt our victory today came off the back of Clark’s relentless effort.”

The Flyers with a 5-5 record are eligible for the MIAA state tournament.

Before the MIAA tournament, the Flyers will compete in the Bay State Conference tournament.
