FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham’s three public beaches open later this month, but the Framingham Parks & Recreation Department still needs a Beach Director, lifeguards, and more season employees.

These are some of the positions still open:

  • Seasonal & Summer Laborers – Provides labor and operates equipment in order to perform necessary maintenance to athletic fields, passive recreation areas, and park areas.  Minimum age 18.
  • Beach Director – Responsible for the supervision of personnel, enforcement of regulations, and providing ongoing training at the three City Beaches.  Minimum age 25.
  • Lifeguards – Supervising the general conduct of beach patrons, preventing accidents, and reacting to emergency situations.  Must hold current certifications in Lifeguard Training, CPR/AED, and First Aid.  Minimum age 16.
  • Bathhouse Attendants – Responsible for cleaning and supervising the bathhouse, raking the beach, light maintenance duties, and checking the residency of patrons.  Minimum age 16.
