FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Coronavirus Community Group and the MetroWest Pharmacy and V-Care Pharmacy received the necessary City of Framingham approval to host a free walk-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Butterworth Park today, June 5.

The free clinic was open to all ages 12 and older. All three vaccines were available – Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson.

Mayoral candidates Mayor Yvonne Spicer and Charlie Sisitsky both stopped by the clinic this morning.

The group and the two Framingham pharmacies will hold a clinic at Wilson Elementary School on Saturday, June 12, and then another free park-based clinic at Roosevelt park in District 8 on Saturday, June 19.

At the first clinic at Wilson Elementary School, more than 600 individuals receive a vaccine shot.
