FRAMINGHAM – The Callahan Center is hosting an identity theft & fraud prevention seminar on Thursday, June 10.

The 1 p.m. virtual seminar will be presented by Robin Putnam. Register by June 8.

Seminar is for those age 55 and older.

According to the Federal Trade Commission, consumers reported losing more than $3.3 billion to fraud in 2020, up from $1.8 billion in 2019.

Robin Putnam, Events & Outreach Manager from the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, will show virtual attendees how to spot and
avoid scams. She’ll also discuss ways to prevent identity theft and safeguard your information. Arm yourself with information so you can stay a step ahead of the scammers.
