NATICK – On Friday, May 28, 2021, Natalie A. (Begley) Waters of Natick, MA passed away unexpectedly at her home at the age of 81. 

Natalie was born in Springfield, she was the daughter of Katherine E. Potter and Edward R. Begley.

She leaves her sons, Richard E. Murtagh and his wife Sally of Ohio, Stephen A. Murtagh and his wife Tracy of Oregon, Timothy P. Murtagh and his wife Beverly of Maryland and her daughter Peg Waters of Natick.

Natalie was preceded by her sisters, Elizabeth Begley Davis and Mary Begley Roper.  She is survived by her sisters Susan Begley Adams of Milford, Judy Begley Palmer of Tennessee and Barbara Begley Waters of Natick and her brothers James F. Begley of Bellingham and Michael E. Begley of California, several nieces and nephews, 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Natalie is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Natalie spent her entire professional career as an insurance agent at Fair & Yeager in Natick.   She loved to travel the world with her family, read books, movies, day trips with her siblings and nature walks.  She was known for walking everyday throughout Natick and waved hello to every person she saw.  She developed quite a network while walking who always looked out for her during her adventures, for which her family is grateful.

Visiting hours in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street,in Natick on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 4-8 p.m.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, at 10:00am at St. Patrick’s Church 44 East Central Street (Rt. 135) in Natick.  Relatives and friends kindly invited.

Heritage at Mary Ann Morse was Natalie’s home for the last six months and her family is forever grateful for their outstanding love and care she received.
