HOPKINTON – Framingham Fire Department was one of more than a half dozen departments that responded to a 3-alarm house fire in Hopkinton Wednesday night, may 26.

Scanner said it was a lightning strike from the storm at 106 Saddle Hill Road in Hopkinton, Hopkinton Fire did not confirm that.

Framingham Fire Engine 1, along with the Assistant Fire Chief and the Framingham Fire Safety Officer responded to Hopkinton, once the third alarm was sounded, said Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher.

There were no injuries.
