FRAMINGHAM – Authorities announced today, May 26, the woman found dead at Halstead Apartments in Framingham was Jasmyn Beatty, 28.

Police and the Middlesex District Attorney’s office announced they were investigating an apparent homicide Tuesday night.

Just after 8:30 a.m. on May 25, Framingham Police received a 9-1-1 call from a person known to Beatty, reporting that she was dead in her apartment.

Upon arrival, police located the victim with obvious trauma, said the District Attorney’s office and Police.

Beatty, lived at 1610 Worcester Road in an apartment, and had come to the City from Cranston, RI.

According to her Linkedin profile she previously worked at TJX Companies as a Senior Financial Analyst  for 5 years before taking a position as a Senior Financial Planning Analyst at Staples HQ in March 2021.

She graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2015.

The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office and Framingham Police are actively investigating the death. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has accepted this case and will make a determination on the cause and manner of death.
