FRAMINGHAM – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Framingham Police Chief Lester Baker announced tonight, just before 10 p.m. there is an ongoing investigation into the death of a 28-year-old female that occurred early this morning, May 25, at Halstead Apartments located on Worcester Road in Framingham.
At approximately 8:37 a.m., Framingham Police received a 9-1-1 call from a person known to the victim reporting that she was dead in her apartment. according to the press release.
Upon arrival, police located the victim with obvious trauma, said the statement.

The death is being investigated as an apparent homicide, sad police.
Investigators are in the very early stages of the investigation and have not yet made a determination about whether or not this is an isolated incident.
The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office and Framingham Police are actively investigating this incident and updates will be released as they become available.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has accepted this case and will make a determination on the cause and manner of death.
