FRAMINGHAM – Mary K. (Hannon) Kenney, 91, a longtime resident of Framingham, died suddenly, May 21, 2021.

Born in Ballygar, Co. Galway, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late John & Bridget Hannon, and the beloved wife of the late Donald J. Kenney.

Mary worked for more than 20 years at HBM in Framingham.

True to her Irish roots, Mary was a hard worker, whose family and faith were always first. She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner at St. Jeremiah and then St. George parishes.

A woman of contradictions, Mary never would drive a car, but had no problem heading to work daily on her Moped.

Mary is survived by her devoted daughter, Mary T. Kenney of Framingham, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins both in the US and Ireland. Besides her husband Donald, Mary was predeceased by her brothers, Larry, John, Pat and Jimmy Hannon.

Family and friends will honor and remember Mary’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Tuesday, May 25 from 4-7 p.m.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. George Church, 74 School St. Saxonville, on Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock.

Interment will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery.
