FRAMINGHAM – Seven individuals, including a pregnant woman, and 5 children, were taken to MetroWest Medical center in Framingham, after an 8 a.m. crash this morning, May 24 at the intersection of Route 30 and beacon Street, according to Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher.

Engine 5 and Ambulance 1 responded to a two-vehicle crash. A vehicle with a 40 year old male driver, hit a vehicle mid impact, with a 26 year old pregnant female driver, said Chief Dutcher.

In the vehicle driven by the pregnant driver were also a “10 year old male, 9 year old female, 7 year old female, 7 year old female & a 7  year old male,” said the chief.

“Command called for additional ambulances, which brought Ambulance 2, Ambulance 3, Ambulance 4 & Ambulance 5,” said Chief Dutcher. “Everyone from scene was transported, with what appears to be minor injuries,” to MetroWest Medical center.

“Great work by the on duty Shift Commander, fire company, and ambulances on scene, to stabilizing the situation and keeping everyone calm,” said Chief Dutcher.
