FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High boys lacrosse team lost to the Timberwolves 10-7 on Thursday night. Walpole High recently changed its mascot.

“Tough loss, we just seemed to run out of bodies at the end,” said head coach AJ Mulvey. “Our defensive midfield group is as good as any but just too banged up from our game against Newton. Both Noah Pearlman and Thomas Chase were battling through minor injuries and Brett Williams and Temi Kayas couldn’t play at all.”

Coach Mulvey said “the defensive midfield unit is the most under appreciated group in lacrosse yet can be the most impactful.”

“Our boys were just gassed at the end and Walpole made some late adjustments that lead to their 5 goal run late in the 4th,” said Mulvey. “I’ll give credit to Coach Jason Andalo. Great coach, and he made some adjustments late that put them over the top.”

“Fortunately, we have 4 days to rest, regroup and get ready for our game against Needham on Tuesday,” said Coach Mulvey.

Boys travel to Needham for a 5:15 p.m. game.
