FRAMINGHAM – Doris L. Larnis, 95, affectionately known as, “Ducky” of Framingham and formerly of Holliston, passed away peacefully at home with her daughter by her side on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.

Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Grace (Eddy) and Stephen George. She was the wife of the late John Larnis Jr. (Mike).

Doris had worked at the Framingham Savings Bank for many years. She enjoyed her large vegetable garden and her yard filled with flowers. She loved bird-watching, reading, and trips to the ocean. Her fondest memories were of the over 45 years she spent  living in the Mudville section of Holliston, where most of her relatives also resided.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Debra Larnis and her partner, Mitch Bobinski of Framingham; as well as her nieces and nephews, Judy, Stephen, Kevin, Paula, Diane, David and Douglas, as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved son, John (Busha) Larnis.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 22nd from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com 

A graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. at Lake Grove Cemetery.
