FRAMINGHAM – An Ashland woman, 28, was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Route 9 Sunday night, May 16 in Framingham, said Police.

Around 9;23 p.m., Framingham Police & Framingham Police responded to 1138 Worcester Road on a report of a single vehicle accident into a guard rail.

Upon arrival the vehicle was located off the road with a sole female occupant. Fire, Paramedics and Police immediately provided medical attention and the sole female occupant was pronounced deceased on scene, said Framingham Deputy Police Chief Sean Riley,

UPDATE: Authorities identified the woman as Jenifer Santos on May 18.

Mass State Police accident reconstruction responded to assist in the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing at this time to determine a cause, said Deputy Chief Riley.
