FRAMINGHAM – The City was recently granted permission from the Commonwealth to provide the Justice Resource Institute’s Program Rise (one of our existing vaccine equity partners) some vaccine doses that they can take out into the community on their mobile van.

Under the State’s Equity Initiative, Program Rise is conducting a mobile vaccination effort with communities of color and those who do not speak English as their first language in Framingham, said the City in a press release today.

SOURCE inquired about the mobile vaccine effort on Wednesday, and the City’s interim health director told the news outlet “We will be releasing more information about it.”

The City still did not answer the questions of where the unit is going, and how many vaccines it has distributed.
