FRAMINGHAM – Saturday should be a gorgeous sunny day, but the City Council finance subcommittee is unlikely to see it.

The finance subcommittee will hold an all-morning and all-afternoon budget meeting to review fiscal year 2022 budget requests from several departments under Mayor Yvonne Spicer’s proposed $307 million budget. The budget has a 2.5% increase, the largest allowed under state law.

The meeting is expected to be aired live on cable TV and on Facebook. It starts at 9 a.m. on Zoom.

The finance subcommittee is chaired by District 3 Councilor Adam Steiner.

Other members of the committee include chair George King Jr., at-large member Janet Leombruno, District 2 Councilor Cesar Stewart-Morales, and District 4 City Councilor Michael Cannon.
