FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High girls lacrosse team will open their shorten COVID-19 season Friday at home against Bay State Conference rival Natick High.

“We’re very excited to be back on the field after missing last spring due to the start of the pandemic. The athletes have been waiting a long time to get back into their high school lacrosse season! We’ve been working hard to prepare for our first game coming up on Friday,” said head coach Melanie Sharick.

The Flyers vs Red Hawks game starts at 4:15 p.m. on May 7.

In goal for the Flyers will be Mason Puumula, a sophomore.

This year’s captains are seniors Ashley Brewer and Emma Kirkpatrick plus juniors Olivia Robitaille, Lauren Trierweiler, and Juliana Donovan.
