Jeannette (LaRochelle) Hartnett, 93, Model, Professional Singer, & Medical Secretary at St. Patrick’s Manor

FRAMINGHAM – Jeannette M. (LaRochelle) Hartnett, 93, a longtime resident of Framingham and Newburyport, died Wednesday, April 28, 2021.

Born in Amesbury, she was the daughter of the late Ulrich & Odile (Cyr) LaRochelle.

Jeannette was raised and educated in Amesbury.

She worked as a medical secretary at St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham from 1969 until her retirement in 1995.

Prior to that, Jeannette sang professionally with Big Bands in the 1940’s, and even did some modeling in New York City.

A gourmet cook, in her later years, Jeannette enjoyed painting, antiques, and reading.

Jeannette is survived by her children, Michelle M. of Westborough, Michael D. & his wife Linda of Pascoag, RI, and Norman D. of Ashland, , her three grandchildren, Devin, Justin, and Connor Macomber, her sister Laurianne Hourihan of Elliot, ME, her brother, Leo LaRochelle of Romona, CA, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor, remember, and celebrate her life privately.
