Framingham DPW To Conduct Water Main Flushing May 3 Thru June 18

FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham Water Department will begin conducting its Spring Water Main Flushing Program starting on Monday, May 3. The work will continue through Friday, June 18.

Water main flushing will occur from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in residential areas.

Flushing will take place from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. in business areas.

The purpose of the program is to improve drinking water quality for residents and businesses in Framingham. 

Flushing will occur in neighborhoods bounded by the Massachusetts Turnpike, Central Street, Wayland Town Line, Sudbury Town Line Hemenway Road, and Edgell Road in May and June.

Crews will begin flushing in Zone 1 on Monday, May 3. (listing of roads below).
