WESTFIELD – The Framingham State University outdoor women’s outdoor track and field team set four new school records as the Rams competed on Saturday, April 17, at the Jerry Gravel Invitational hosted by Westfield State University.

Sophomore Elizabeth Dykstra established a new school record with her third place finish in the 400 meters events.  Dykstra placed third with her personal best and school record time of 1:05.70 minutes.  She also placed 11th in the 200M with another personal best time of 28.81 seconds.

Junior Patrice Haney established a new school record with her 10th place finish in the 200meters She crossed the line in a time of 28.64. Haney also placed 11th in the 100M dash with a time of 13.89 seconds

Sophomore Emily Newcomb established a new school record in the 800 meters.  Newcomb led a trio of Rams with her fourth place finish in a school record time of 2:36.78. 

Junior Kammarie Pelland followed in ninth with a personal best 2:48.96, while sophomore Ashley Fenton placed 13 with a time of 2:58.26.

Freshman Camille Carvalho set a new personal best with her third place finish in the 5,000 meters crossing in a time of 21:09.30 minutes.

Freshman Olivia Yancey had a solid day for the Rams in the shot put and discus. 

Yancey placed fifth in the shot with a school record toss of 9.01 meters, while she placed eighth in the discus with a toss of 19.02 meters.

The Rams close out the season on Sunday, May 2 at the MASCAC Championships hosted by Westfield State University.
