FRAMINGHAM – The MetroWest Health Foundation launched a series of short video messages to educate area residents on the importance of getting the COVID 19 Vaccine.

The videos, which can be found on the foundation’s website (www.mwhealth.org), use local “influencers” to get the message out about the why the vaccine is important for individual, family and community health.

The videos are produced in English, Portuguese and Spanish, and feature local religious, health care, government and
community leaders speaking on the safety and science behind the vaccines.

“We know that many residents are hesitant to get the vaccine for a variety of reasons. We thought putting together these messages from trusted community leaders may help to alleviate the fear and hesitancy that some may still have” said Martin Cohen, the foundation’s President/CEO.

The foundation is providing the videos to any community organization or wishing to use them in their own education of community residents. To get copies of the videos contact Rebecca Gallo at 508-879-7625.

The MetroWest Health Foundation is a catalyst for a healthy MetroWest, providing over $5 million in annual financial support for preventative and responsive health programs.
