1 Today is the 5th anniversary of SOURCE. The digital news site began publish in 2016 on this date.

2. Mayor Yvonne Spicer will be speaking on a panel discussing housing today at 1 p.m., but according to the Mayor’s public schedule, she has no public events today.

The Mayor typically holds her community hours on Tuesdays at 5 p.m. but this week it has been move to Wednesday.

3. CITY of FRAMINGHAM meetings:

  • Framingham Council on Aging at 1:30 p.m.
  • Framingham City Council at 7 p.m.
  • Framingham City Council Finance subcommittee at 8 p.m.

4. Eversource gas will continue mobilizing and begin replacing the gas main on Edgell Road between the Nobscot intersection and Donovan Drive. Expect moderate delays. Lane shifts and a one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect.

5. More than two dozen virtual presentations covering topics ranging from dinosaurs, to climate change and nuclear waste management, are on tap for the 2021 Science on State Street festival held between today and April 24.

Science on State Street is an annual collaboration between Framingham State’s Christa McAuliffe Center for Integrated Science Learning and the MetroWest STEM Education Network.
