MARLBOROUGH – City of Marlborough Mayor Arthur Vigeant and Fire Chief Kevin Breen will be joined by the Fire Station Committee members on Thursday, April 22nd at 6 p.m. to discuss the proposed site selection for a new west side fire station.

Members of the public will be invited to participate remotely and ask questions.

“The City purchased a home at 481 Elm Street earlier this year and re-parceled some land for potential use. The Fire Station Committee will be available, and we’d like to hear from residents who have any concerns,” said Mayor Arthur Vigeant.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss geographical benefits associated with this proposed location. Additionally, we will offer information in support of this location to include projected response time improvements, programming facets of a new fire station and ongoing growth and build out projections driving this important city project.

A link will be publicized and available on the City’s website prior to the meeting.
