NATICK – The Town of Natick is advertising for a budget analyst to join its finance team.

“This is an excellent opportunity for an experience financial professional to work in one of MetroWest’s leading communities,” stated the posting by the Town of Natick.

The salary range of $60,000-$65,000 based on qualifications.

“The successful candidate will have a strong background in municipal budgeting with at least of three years of increasingly responsible professional experience in finance, budgeting or accounting, preferably in local government,” said the City in the posting.

The person would be responsible for “coordinating the preparation of Town-wide budgets, provides instructions and schedules budget preparations; prepares modifications to budgets; prepares presentations and materials for Town-wide budget forums and Committees. Conducts year around follow-up and support of departmental budgets.”

Applicants should have “Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, accounting or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in public or business administration accounting or a related field is highly desirable.”

“Computer literate, especially in the use of MS office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Knowledge in Munis Software preferred,” said the City.
