FRAMINGHAM – Pooled testing did not happen today, April 8 at four Framingham schools “due to staffing issues with our third party testing vendor,” the public school district announced today.

“We are working on solutions, will provide status updates, and will resume pooled testing as soon as possible,” said the district in an email to parents today.

Those schools are: BLOCKS, Hemenway Elementary, Wilson Elementary, and Walsh Middle.

The last figure available was 56% of eligible students had signed up for pooled testing. Remote student do not participate in pooled testing.

“Remember that pooled testing is one of many strategies currently in place in the district to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our schools. Please continue to always wear a mask, maintain 6ft physical distance as much as possible, and stay home and/or keep your child home when sick,” wrote the district to parents this afternoon.
